Miracle on 34th Street (1947)
Wednesday 22nd December 2021 - 7:30 pm
This 1947 triple Oscar winner, featuring a young Natalie Wood, is for many people the very definition of feel-good Christmas cinema. When an old man fills in for an intoxicated Santa in the Macy's annual Thanksgiving Day parade, he proves to be such a hit that he is soon appearing regularly at the chain's main store in midtown Manhattan. But he then surprises customers and employees alike by claiming that he really IS Santa Claus - only a court case can determine the outcome.
With Maureen O'Hara, John Payne and Edmund Gwenn. 90 mins.
