'Extraordinary' is the word most used by critics to describe this film.  It is a poetic and shocking tale of the effect marijuana trafficking in Columbia has on the lives of the indigenous people. Over a period of 20 years, the Wayuu tribe undergo an unrelenting transformation as the gringos offer riches beyond their wildest dreams and their culture, their ceremonies and beliefs come under pressure.  But dreams and hallucination offer proof that they still have a soul.
