CERAMICS AND IDENTITY IN LATE 20TH CENTURY BRITAIN
Magdalene Odundo breaks down barriers between worlds. She is British and Kenyan, artist and curator, and combines art with pottery. Fiona FitzGerald will examine the art world that Odundo entered in the 1970s and how she developed an identity that connected her origins with a sensitivity for global cultures.
This talk connects to the exhibition, MAGDALENE ODUNDO: THE JOURNEY OF THINGS, at the Sainsbury Centre, Norwich
