During the 20th Century, the printed image has appropriated many of the traditional roles of the painting. Don McCullin extended this territory through his remarkable images of 'the human condition' in war, poverty and place. Fiona will examine how his work has touched and challenged a wide public. This talk links to the Don McMullin retrospective at Tate Britain.
