This is a practical introduction to how radio drama is made with plenty of chances to have a go and practice the techniques used in the production of professional radio drama.
The morning session introduces the participants to the weird and wonderful world of radio - featuring playful exercises to include all participants.
In the afternoon we will make a short radio play and all participants will receive their own copy of the finished version following the course.
For all fans of radio drama, Archers Addicts, students of performance, amateur performers and professional actors with little experience of radio work.

Stefan Escreet was Associate Director at Theatre by the Lake for many years and is a freelance radio producer and director having been a BBC Radio Drama Producer in Manchester working on programmes across the Radio 4 schedule.
He is visiting tutor in Radio Acting for Manchester Metropolitan University School of Theatre.
Stefan is Artistic Director of Ragged Edge Productions which recently toured nationally with The Chef Show.
