With Anna Castillo, Javier Gutierrez, Pep Ambros, Miguel Angel Aladren.

A gentle, low-key film with more than a touch of Ken Loach about it. The olive tree of the title is 2000 years old and belonged to Alma's grandfather. Now it has been uprooted and graces the foyer of a German energy company. Watching the old man mourning for his tree Alma determines to embark on a reckless quest to restore it to its rightful place.  It seems an impossible task but Alma is persuasive and the angels are definitely on her side.
