Dir: Michael Almereyda, 2017, USA, 99 mins.
With Lois Smith, Jon Hamm, Geena Davis, Tim Robbins.

Marjorie, once a talented violinist, is now an old woman struggling with dementia.  Her one comfort is the company of her late husband Walter, a holographic-android, played by Jon Hamm in his best performance since Don Draper.  Although Marjorie's existence is enriched by the technology that makes this possible, her daughter is made uneasy by the presence of her 40 year old 'father'.  It's a subtle, haunting film that studies the nature of memory and of its power to deceive.
