Amarea are back with their fiery mix of passionate and romantic songs from Latin America and originals in Spanish and English. Along with great dance rhythms, you will get joy, humour and elements of theatre.

Amarea features Daida Carbonell (Catalonia) vocals; Yuri Betancourt Garcia (Chile) guitar; Michael Baldwin (London) saxes and Kieffer Santander (Peru) percussion.

Amarea has  performed at Anteros in Norwich; Vamos Festival, Newcastle; The  Cut, Halesworth; New College, Oxford, and the Flipside Brazilian Festival. They also played at a Festival of Chilean culture in Barcelona and London venues such as Floripa, Bun & Bar and Hootananny.

The Vamos Festival organisers wrote: ‘Daida - what a voice!'

Genevieve Christie, Flipside Festival, wrote: ‘Thank you for coming and playing at FlipSide. Amarea were wonderful, and I received a great deal of positive feedback, with everyone saying how much they enjoyed it.’
