Professor Robert Foley is the Leverhulme Professor of Human Evolution at the University of Cambridge, a Fellow of King's College, and a Fellow of the British Academy.

His talk will discuss recent developments in our understanding of how and why humans evolved has changed in recent years, drawing on new fossil discoveries, new approaches drawn from genetics and other sciences, and new ideas about how evolution works.
